Default Do you prefer models with or without .......

opening features?

Here the discussion is based on collector type models not toy cars from Matchbox, Hot Wheels et al.

Thanks

I prefer without, mainly due to owning a few vehicles with hoods that don't quite shut all the way, and a few vehicles (M2/Castline) with misaligned doors.

For small scale models such as 1/64, i like opening features as long as they are done well. However, it has been my experience that a small model looks better with no opening features.

Overall, I prefer accurate appearance over operational features. I've rarely seen a 1:64 with opening doors,hood,etc.. that has proportionate shut lines. Make mine curbside, thanx.

Let's put it this way, if doors and hoods shut tight every time, I'd be 100% for them, but I have way too many M2s with very ill fitting doors and hoods.
