Default Moving forward with the diecast zone!

For immediate release: Kevin McGrath and Michelle Peters are the new owners of Legacydiecast.com and Legacy Diecast Models. With these enthusiastic new owners and their substantial investment in The Diecast Zone, the long term future of both The Diecast Zone and Legacydiecast.com has been secured.

Kevin and Michelle each have more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, and are incredibly passionate about scale models. Jay Olins’ relationship with them dates back to the old days when Franklin Mint was the leader in 1:24 scale.

Here is a brief summary of their backgrounds:

Kevin McGrath and Michelle Peters are the Owners of Mint Models LLC. Kevin created Mint Models with Michelle 10 years ago after he left The Franklin Mint in 2004. He was the Director of Sales and Marketing for The Franklin Mint. Kevin is a member of the Automodello team and works closely with Raffi Minasian and Jim Cowen in the selection and marketing of new models. Michelle was the Sales Trainer for the Franklin Mint's Retail Stores, and Manager of their Colonie Center Store in Albany, NY for over 10 Years. Michelle is also known for her development of the exclusive line of Mint Models Corvettes.

The donations to the recent Webfund Drive allowed for the basic necessities to be covered for the time required to make an arrangement with Kevin and Michelle. The long term future of the Diecast Zone is now secure. Legacy Diecast Models and Mint Models will support The Diecast Zone going forward.

Well I hope the new owners are listening because as from now I no longer wish to be a Moderator of Forum 64.

Thanks

Lee

You have been a stalwart to Forum 64 and hopefully with the new owners they will begin to offer the support we have both felt was needed to push this forum forward.

It didn’t help other users of the Legacy Forums for Forum 64 to be totality different to the other ones.

Also Legacy has never sold or had plans to sell model cars in 1:64th scale so again a very different policy to the other scale Legacy Forums which have their favourite scale represented in the Legacy site.

Just seen that Michelle Peters has posted a response on Forum’s 24, 18 and 43!

Looks like they have either forgotten us or don’t know we exist!

Too true Lee.

BTW Michelle has only commented on Forum 43 and Forum 24 not Forum 18. My bad and apologies.
