As I commented about your 1955 Pontiac Star Chief in turquoise and white, the 1954 Mercury Sun Valley in yellow and green is gorgeous. I have five of the 1954 Mercury Sun Valleys, all in different colors, and all are beautiful, but some color combinations just catch the eye. Interestingly, one of the Sun Valleys I have (in mint green color) was purchased from the same previous owner as the 1955 Star Chief, on which the owner cut off the roof and made a convertible out of it. His workmanship was pretty good, and with just a little t******* with a file and some touch-up paint it now looks very nice.

I miss the days of the two-toned beauties from Detroit.
