Default Revel 1/64 1961 Chevrolet Impala

Such a nice but short lived series, Revell did some really nice 1/64 scale models.

I wanted to reply to this thread, mostly to ensure that the OP will continue to post these interesting cars and comments. However, I wish that others would also parti****te, as seeing only my responses can get quite boring, particularly with no pictures.

I share mcjbob's appreciation for the Revell 1:64 diecast models of the 1961 Chevy Impala. I have a Revell 1963 Impala in maroon color, and also a 1970 Monte Carlo (the beautiful green with black top shown in the OP's other thread), and am always looking for other Revell models to add to my collection. They exhibit incredible detail for the scale, and remain some of the nicest 1:64 models available. Let's see some others owned by other forum members. Did Revell make models only of Chevrolets?

I see that the software did not like my word choice above, for reasons that completely escape me, so please feel free to substitute the phrase "add their comments" for the deleted **** above.

Looks like a nice model. I didn't think I had any '61 Impala models in my collection in this scale, but a look in my database found one from Ertl-American Muscle Series. It is in Ermine White, unfortunately I don't seem to have any photos, but I will keep looking.
