Default Saved Kenworth garbage truck

Was really happy to find this 1:32 scale New Ray Kenworth W900 garbage truck at a thrift store for just two bucks. The essence of the rig was there for sure, but it was missing one fuel tank, both air cleaners and a drivers-side mirror. After completely taking the truck apart, the interior and exterior were detailed and molds were made from the existing fuel tank halves. The air cleaners were fashioned and a spare Mack mirror installed. Overall, quite fun to get it 'back on the road'. Hardest part of the project was making a bracket to fasten the fuel tank to because I used water putty to cast the tank halves, so the tank is dense, solid and heavy. Now the air cleaners are another story and you would laugh at me if I told you what I used.

Thanks for looking...

Exceptional work on this restoration.I can't guess what you used to make the air cleaners, though.
