Smile Hi, new forum member, ny name is John

I have been collecting 1:64 (or close, Matchbox & the like) scale models for many, many years. I have aprox. 900 in that scale. Greenlight and Johnny Lightning are favorites. Like M2 as well. Maybe taboo for this foum, but I collect multiple scales too. I have nearly 2000 diecast vehicles in total. I have been a member of D4C since 1998. Cars are my passion, so I collect anything I like, but 1:64 is my 1st love. I have been collecting them since I was 5.

You've been collecting since you were 5 and you now have nearly 2000????

You must be around 90 years old, right?

Seriously, let me be the first to welcome you. I share your love for cars.

Duncan

Welcome. I think most of us collect other scales, too. My real name is John, also.

That is a Holden Efigy Concept. It is based on the original 1953 Holden FJ, an Australian GM product. I saw the actual car a few years back at the Woodward Dream Crusie.
